Week 52 -- Sightseeing in Agrigento (and coming up on one year!)

Brie called us this morning and also said she recorded a voice memo for me to transcribe and send out for her group e-mail but she had a horrible wifi connection and it looks like it didn't send.

She was still in a trio until that evening when they would go pick up a new companion for the other sorelle.  She has enjoyed the trio and is feeling more and more like herself -- as you'll see in the pictures, she sparkles.

For P-Day, she and her two companions went to Agrigento, "a hilltop city on Sicily's southwest shore.  It's known for the ruins of the ancient city of Akragas in the Valley of the Temples, a vast archaeological site with well-preserved Greek temples.  On the modern city's outskirts is the Museo Archeologico Regionale 'Pietro Griffo', with artifacts and a telamon (giant male figure)."  (Thanks, Google!)

  1. The Valley of the Temples is really cool. It is too bad she can't go to the coast of that area because they have these really famous white cliffs that are really interesting to see. Maybe when she goes back to visit.
