Week 26: Going to Sicily

This week was LIT! So to preface, for the month of February, we set a goal to get 5 new people to teach. So far we had gotten 1, but we had lots and lots of faith, and we worked really really hard last week, but we got a few bidones (cancels) and so we didn't reach our goal. So that's ok. We still faith, still working hard girls. So this week, we were BLESSED. On Tuesday, the first people we talked to on the train set up and appointment for the next day!! And then also got another number all before 10.15!!! This never happens!!!! Anyways long story short we are blessed girls and got 4 people to teach this week (and we were so excited because we would reach our goal for February), and then we called our district leader and he said oh bummer this week counts for March. Bummer. But still amazing miracles!!! The temple is coming!!!

Last week for pday we went to the Amalfi coast again and hiked the path of the gods as a zone. It's INCREDIBLE 10/10 recommend (except the bus ride.) I was a smart girl and took 1-2 a Dramamine, and all the missionaries went to the back of the bus, and I said no "thank you, I will sit here." And they all thought it was dumb or that I was weak and poked a lil fun at me. But then both our zone leaders got SUPER sick and both had to come to the front of the bus and were asking me for Dramamine and Pepto Bismol and all the things. And guess who didn't get sick. Me. Thank you nom for sending me with Dramamine in excess.

Also FUN NEWS got transfer calls. I LOVE Pozzuoli, but am definitely ready to leave. It's hard to be here and see people we worked so hard with that are going backward. It's discouraging, BUT long story short was super excited for transfers. I decided that I would be transferred already, so yesterday I started packing my bags lol. We got transfer calls this morning and I am going to CATANIA and am OPENING AN AREA with SORELLA D (idk how to spell but if you guys saw the newspaper article about the Rome temple she was in it). She is my age in the mission and is from Milan but originally from Ghana and is an INCREDIBLE MISSIONARY. I'm terrified she is gonna whip me into shape so hard. Hahaha We've been able to see the lords hand here in Pozzuoli this week. Prayers are being answered. Sad to be leaving because our work is growing A LOT but HYPE for Catania.

Love you all xoxoxox

Questions 1.  What was the highlight of your week?Getting 4 new people (But also it's not all about the numbers it's just good to see a concrete way that hard work is paying off) but also this week for comp unity we were at a 10!!!! Also, we had pranzo with Emanuela and a member named Sorella T (literally the rock that the church in Napoli is built upon) and she did the spiritual thought for us and gave us all a gift of a rock with the scripture Helaman 5.12 and literally did the spiritually thought it was incredible #goals
